Shooting menswear shirts and trousers

Capture Factory is based in Brighton so we know a thing or two about the Mod look. Hence, when a local designer wanted to shoot their range of menswear shirts and trousers we jumped at the chance.

Although we are Brighton based we are happy to travel to any location around the UK. For example, London designers often book us to shoot on location or in their design studios.

The styled shoot

Here at Capture Factory we love a lookbook shoot as we really can let our creativity run free. We used our knowledge of London in the 1960s to create a unique vibe. Nevertheless, the designers can tell us what they want the style to be like. We then combine ideas to come up with something special.

First we worked with pairing each shirt with the perfect combination of trousers and belts and often threw in a bag or jacket as an accessory. The model fitted all the shirts and trousers perfectly and looked great. We soon had him striding around the set and striking all sorts of poses.

Using both our stand alone photography rigs and close up freehand techniques we managed to create great shots of each combined look. Also, we have done details shots of the important parts of each garment.
